Yes! You can teach either or both, according to your preferences.

Can I teach at both Helen Doron Connect and Helen Doron English?

Yes! We see a great value in teaching with Helen Doron online and offline. Keep in mind that you would undergo training for each program separately, and that you could then teach Helen Doron English in a certified Helen Doron English Learning Centre or Learning Studio

How long are the lessons?

One-on-one lessons are 25 minutes; group lessons are 45 minutes. 5 minutes of these lessons involves the screening of the relevant Helen Doron episode, leaving 20 minutes and 40 minutes of teaching time, respectively.

What is the payment cycle?

We pay on a monthly basis for all the lessons taught in the previous month

How much do you pay? Are there incentives?

Session payments consist of base pay, bonuses, and incentives for attendance and good performance

Connect teachers undergo comprehensive training on the Helen Doron Methodology and using the Helen Doron Connect platform. Ongoing training and monthly webinars will keep you up-to-date.

What do I need to prepare for lessons?

You should review the tutorials for activities in your upcoming lesson, and play around with the lesson to ensure you are comfortable with the lesson and its material.

Can I work from home?

Absolutely. Your teaching environment should be quiet and have a stable internet connection, good lighting and a neat background. It can be your home or any other location convenient for you

Do I have to commit to a minimum number of hours?

You will need to open a minimum of 10 slots per week, and can increase from there to teach as much as you wish.
All lessons recur weekly for the purchased course length. By accepting a booking, you commit to being available at the weekly booked time for the entire length of the booking

How many lessons will I teach?

As long as you meet the minimum commitment of 10 slots, you can work as much or as little as you are willing and able.
No commitment for minimal lessons per week/month, however you commit to complete the length of a whole course to qualify for the attendance bonus

What is a “gamified lesson”?

In a lesson, the students learn through fun activities and interactive games within the virtual classroom, complete with virtual rewards and incentives. Every lesson is expertly crafted to utilize multiple learning styles and modalities, and balances collaboration, mirroring, and self-study in group and individual work, to provide the most effective and enjoyable lessons possible
